OUR UNIQUE APPROACH
Our process is designed to set our clients up for success. Long before design begins, we help you build a foundation that supports every effort that follows. We develop a Project Vision and design that aligns with your overall unique vision, will be supported by your stakeholders, and be completed on time and within budget.
Most of our engagements will begin with conversations with leadership learning your story and understanding your culture. Based on what we discover, a program is tailored to fit your unique needs rather than take a “one size fits all” approach. A Campus Vision Statement is developed that aligns with the church’s unique vision, mission, and strategy before any planning or design begins. We help you avoid spending resources of time and money on designing a facility that is outside your budget, does not align with your needs, or has little chance of getting funded.
Whether you are evaluating the best use of your current facility, exploring options to relocate into another existing building or buying raw land to build, we can help.
Multisite Development
We work with churches to develop multiple meeting locations. Often the solution involves “adaptive reuse”, which is the transformation of existing buildings from their original use. This is typically much less costly than developing a new building, and breathes life into buildings that no longer serve their original purpose.
Additional & Renovated ministry space on existing campus
Many growing churches have an existing campus or building, and are in need of additional space whether it’s more seats in worship, space for gathering and various ministries, and additional parking. Projects often involve updating or renovation of existing space, and upgrades to building technology, security, and audio/visual/lighting. Momentum Group guides churches through this process from developing the Campus Vision through completion of the Project.
Site selection assistance
Momentum Group assists churches seeking to relocate to a new site, whether it is raw land or has existing buildings. It is critical to understand the potential of any site under consideration including constraints of zoning, utilities, environmental issues, and existing building conditions. Know how much space your church can build before acquiring new property. We can help.
Optimization of existing facilities
It is not uncommon to find that a church is not utilizing their facilities in an efficient manner. We assist clients with optimization of their existing campus which can reduce the amount of additional space that is needed in an expansion. Our process fosters good stewardship of existing building/land resources and saves money on building expansions.
