Brentwood United Methodist Church

Brentwood United Methodist Church has over 8,000 members and has been a part of this rapidly growing and thriving Nashville suburb for 165 years. Momentum Group worked with the Senior and Executive Pastors and key leadership to develop a Campus Vision that aligned with their overall vision, mission, and strategy. Achieving the long-term Campus Vision would require expansion of the existing campus as well as extensive renovations in multiple phases.

Additional parking was required to accommodate the new space, and Momentum Group was engaged to pursue entitlements to develop parking on adjacent church-owned land. A Master Plan was developed to maximize land-use and optimize use of the existing facilities which included not only the normal church use, but a Day School, a children’s daycare, the United Methodist Church annual district conference, and numerous community related functions, activities and ministries. 

Phase One consists of a new 26,000 square foot addition and renovation of all children’s ministry, Day School, and daycare space. The new space will allow expansion of the school, all children’s ministry programs, and provide large gathering spaces for children’s worship and programs, as well as a multi-purpose space that features a performance stage and state of the art audio/visual and lighting. Phase One also improves building security, accessibility, wayfinding, and connectivity. 

Additional planned phases include new contemporary worship, connection space with café, and worship arts.
